Burkina Faso has launched the 2024-2025 cotton season with a massive campaign aimed at improving the sector.

At the flagoff occasion on Monday, the Burkinabe transitional president, Captain Ibrahim Traore, announced the disbursement of 10 billion CFA Francs to support cotton producers.

Traore’s gesture on Monday comes shortly after the purchase of hundreds of farm tractors to boost the Agricultural sector.
