The president and vice president of Burkina Faso’s journalists’ association have been arrested.

Guézouma Sanogo and Boukari Ouoba were taken to an undisclosed location just days after criticizing press restrictions.

Their detention has sparked concerns over growing repression in the country.

Martin Kaba reports from Ouagadougou, voiced by Imoh Edet.
