Burkina Faso’s transitional government has dismissed reports of military abuses in Solenzo, calling them disinformation.

A Human Rights Watch report alleged that civilians in the northwestern town faced mistreatment by the army and Volunteers for the Defense of the Homeland (VDP) last week.
