The Burkinabe Government has strongly criticized Nigerien President Mohamed Bazoum, characterizing him as lacking vision.
Responding to Bazoum’s recent critique of the government’s anti-terrorist strategy, Jean Emmanuel Ouédraogo, the Minister of Communication, emphasized that soldiers from the West will not make sacrifices to protect Bazoum’s country without a gain.
As Oge Obierika reports, President Bazoum in a recent media interview said the terrorist groups operating in the sub-region possess greater expertise than the armies combating them.
