Authorities in Burkina Faso have announced the capture of a leader of the Islamic State in the Greater Sahara (ISGS). Adama Oumarou, who planned several terrorist attacks mainly in the Sahel region, was captured on October 10, dealing a significant blow to this armed group operating in that part of the country.
