The disappearance of Idrissa Barry, a leader of the Servir et Non Se Servir (SENS) movement, has raised widespread concerns in Burkina Faso.

Barry was abducted on March 18 in Ouagadougou, just days after denouncing a civilian massacre in Solenzo.

His disappearance has intensified fears over shrinking civic space and human rights violations in the country.
