Liberia’s President Joseph Boakai has condemned mob violence as a growing danger to the nation’s stability and rule of law.
Speaking at the launch of a nationwide Anti-Mob Violence Campaign in Monrovia, Boakai urged citizens to seek legal redress over jungle justice.
The campaign is being led by the Ministry of Justice, with support from the UNDP and Liberia Chamber of Commerce.
Authorities hope the initiative will curb vigilantism and reinforce public trust in the justice system.
