In Benin, controversy is growing over a report by the national human rights commission.

The document provides information on the violence that took place during the presidential elections last April.

The authorities had totally rejected reports accusing the army of killing demonstrators in the center of the country.

The Beninese Commission on Human Rights (CBDH) report says the opposite and reveals the names and graves of civilian victims. The ruling coalition denounced a biased investigation.
