The proposal of a possible revision of the Benin Constitution continues to fuel controversy.

An opposition party known as the Cowry Forces for an Emerging Benin (FCBE) also rejected the proposed law after the democrats of former president Thomas Boni Yayi, had done the same.

For the opposition party, the context is not favourable but proceeded to make proposals on sponsorship.
