In Benin, the army has received improved equipment as it continues the fight against violent extremism.

On Monday, the Chief of Staff of the Armed Forces highlighted the importance of the equipment acquired to strengthen the army’s response capacity in the northern parts which are faced with terrorist attacks.

Other army corps have been strengthened as well as the living conditions of military personnel at the frontlines.
