In Ghana, Amnesty International has threatened legal actions against the parliament if it passes the Promotion of Proper Human Rights and Ghanaian Family Values Bill, 2021 popularly known as the Anti-gay Bill.
The bill is currently under consideration in Parliament awaiting the third reading.
However, Amnesty International maintains the bill is inimical to human rights and must not be allowed to pass.
