The Coordinator of Africans Rising, a pan-Africanist movement is calling for enhanced efforts to promote and preserve the dignity of Africans living home and abroad.

Ms Coumba Toure also calling for an end to systemic racism against people of African descent.

The call by Ms Toure comes on the occasion of Africa Day , today, May 25.

It is the annual commemoration of the foundation of the Organisation of African Unity on 25 May 1963. 

It is celebrated in various countries on the African continent, as well as around the world.
