Senegal booked a ticket to the semi-finals of the Africa Cup of Nations after an impressive 3-1 win against Equatorial Guinea. The Teranga Lions will face fellow West Africans Burkina Faso in the semis who secured their place after a 1- 0 win againt Tunisia

Hosts Cameroon also booked their place in the semi-finals following a convincing 2-0 win against debutants Gambia. They will go up against Egypt who defeated fellow North African team Morocco for a spot in the final four.
