The Arewa Consultative Forum (ACF), a prominent sociocultural group of elders from Northern Nigeria, has sounded the alarm on the devastating impact of terrorism, banditry, and kidnapping on the region’s survival. 

At a recent news briefing in Maiduguri, the Borno State Capital, Chairman of the Forum, Bashir Mohammed, emphasized that if left unchecked, these security threats could pose a catastrophic risk to the region within the next five years.
