The major political opposition coalition in Guinea Bissau will again dominate the new National People’s Assembly after its victory in Sunday’s legislative vote.
Results by the national electoral commission Thursday revealed the five-party Terra Ranka coalition won 54 of parliament’s 102 seats.
President Umaro Sissoko Embalo’s party, MADEM G – 15 came second with 29 seats.
