Less than three weeks until the June 18 referendum in Mali, authorities have commenced the electoral campaign, a process that will either validate or reject the new constitution.

Sources in Bamako say the transitional government has been busy behind the scenes as well as mobilizing the population to ensure a Yes vote in the ballot.

This referendum is one of the flagship reforms initiated by the ruling military.
