Violent clashes between riot police and anti-government protesters in the Guinean capital, Conakry on Wednesday have left at least three people dead and over a dozen injured.
The demonstrators, who have been protesting since the 2021 coup by the military, threw stones and burned makeshift barricades in the latest unrest.
Despite promises by the military to hand back power to civilians, progress the protesters cited has been slow, leading to continued demonstrations.
