With just seventeen days left before the end of his tenure, Nigeria’s President Muhammadu has requested the approval of the Senate to obtain an eight hundred million dollars loan from the World Bank.
According to a letter read by the Senate President, Ahmad Lawan, during Wednesday’s plenary, the additional loan facility has been approved by the Federal Executive Council for the National Social Safety Net program.
Buhari is seeking the consideration and approval of the Senate to ensure its early implementation.
