We head to Cote d’Ivoire, where the 11th African Land Forces Summit began on Monday.

The summit, which is being attended by 36 African countries, the United States, and some European nations, is focused on addressing security challenges through civil-military partnerships.

The aim of the meeting is to discuss security challenges in Africa and develop complementary and collaborative solutions to shared security challenges.

Ivorian Minister of Defense, Tene Birahima Ouattara, emphasized the need for States to adopt a global and multilateral approach to the fight against insecurity.
