The death toll from the April 20 attack on Yatenga village province in Burkina Faso has surged from 60 to hundreds.
Survivors who spoke to reporters on Tuesday revealed that the attackers executed several groups of villagers on the spot while pursuing and killing those who attempted to flee.
The survivors of the Karma massacre are now calling for justice and transparency, as they await the results of the official investigation.
