The government of Ghana has announced that the International Monetary Fund (IMF) is expected to approve a program for the country by the end of May 2023.
The Finance Minister, Ken Ofori-Atta, stated on Thursday that Ghana has made significant progress, and therefore, calls for a need for swift approval of the program.
The IMF has given assurances that it will act promptly to approve Ghana’s program request once a deal is reached with its creditors.
