We head to Nigeria, as President Muhammadu Buhariofficially launched two new security offices, collectively known as the National Counterterrorism Centre (NCTC).
These advanced facilities are intended to enhance efforts to address the country’s evolving security challenges, particularly terrorism and violent extremism.
During the inauguration, the president emphasized that the NCTC would serve as a significant legacy, providing the incoming administration with the necessary infrastructure to effectively coordinate national security and counter-terrorism efforts.
