The United States Ambassador to Liberia Michael McCarthy has frowned on diaspora Liberians disseminating false news into the country’s political environment from the safety of their studios and offices abroad.

He said these Liberians in the U.S. are motivated by disruption and a desire to break down trust in Liberian institutions without caring about the consequences.
