The United States intelligence says the Russian paramilitary group Wagner has hatched a plot to assassinate the head of the junta in Chad, General Mahamat Idriss Deby.

The revelation, made in the columns of the American daily Wall Street Journal in its issue of Thursday, cites official sources both Western and African, without however naming them.
