The Nigerien government says it is carrying out reforms aimed at strengthening the small and medium-sized enterprises and industries sector across the country.

According to the Prime Minister, Ouhoumoudou Mahamadou, SMIs and SMEs in Niger face several constraints preventing them from unleashing their wealth potential.

To this end, the government is disbursing 16.7 million US dollars.
