Burkina Faso recorded an inflation rate of 14.6% in 2022, the government announced at the council of ministers.

The economic activity and public financial management in 2022 were marked by the Russian -Ukrainian war and the resurgence of new variants of Covid-19.

Ouagadougou experienced a decline in value added in the secondary sector, saying various factors explain this poor performance in 2022.
