The Electoral Commission, EC has been accused of injustice by leading members of the 17 political parties whose certification was revoked this week. 

Ghana’s Electoral Commission through a public notice on Monday announced the cancellation of certificates and de-registering of some seventeen political parties over their failure to show proof of regional and national level offices across the country by a stated deadline.

According to the EC, its nationwide tour revealed the parties do not have offices –a clear breach of the political parties’ act.
