The Minority in Ghana’s Parliament says the government will announce cuts on some investment payments within the next 14 days as part of its debt restructuring measures.

President Akufo-Addo in his economic recovery speech last Sunday, assured that the government does not intend to slash the returns made on investments in its negotiations with the International Monetary Fund.

But addressing the media on Tuesday, the Minority Leader, Haruna Iddrisu insisted that there will be some form of cuts in investments in the coming days.

Mr. Iddrisu also accused the president of creating the current economic mess the country currently finds itself in.
