A viral social media message by a senior ranking Malian military officer is causing survivors of the September 6 attacks on Talataye and nearby villages to relocate to safer locations in neighboring Burkina Faso and Niger.
In the viral message, the military officer warned the people to leave immediately as according to him, no security forces can save them when the attackers return.
