In Liberia, new statistics released Wednesday, shows that more than 34,000 people are living with the HIV virus, coupled with a number of deaths recorded yearly.
According to the Chairperson of the National Aids Commission, Madam Theodosia Kolee, the UNAids spectrum estimate of 2022 further puts the prevalence of the virus at 1.1%, stressing that 20,000 women, 12,000 men and 2,000 children are currently affected by the virus.
