In Ghana, pressure group Arise Ghana say they will not be stopped in their attempts to picket in front of the seat of government.

The group which has been vocal about the rising cost of living says on June 28 and 29, they will picket in front of the Jubilee house; Ghana's seat of government until 10 pm on both days.

They will also present petitions to both the finance ministry and parliament to push home their demands.

One of the conveners of the group, Mensah Thompson tells WADR that any attempt to block the protest would court more disaffection for the government.
