Two Ghanaian medical practitioners on the Brussels-Accra flight received a standing ovation after they saved a Frenchman who was dying from heart attack.

The two doctors involved in the life-saving situation on June 7, 2022 were Dr. Charles Ababio and Dr, Diana Boakye.

According to a passenger on board at the time, Ike Sherdrach, the French national was unconscious with his mouth half opened, his chin against his chest and was being attended to by his almost equally helpless wife before the two West African good doctors steeped in.

The eyewitness said the pilot had to divert the aircraft and landed in Spain where an ambulance was on standby to receive the now stable Frenchman for further medical attention.
