The United Nations World Food Program WFP has appealed for the mobilization of funds to assist food-insecure people in Mali.

Erik Perdison, WFP’s resident representative in Bamako, Monday, said the seventy-five million dollars appeal fund will cater to the needs of some one point two million people for the next six months.
