Ghana’s government will today, Tuesday launch a campaign aimed at raising citizen awareness on the threats and dangers of a possible terror attack in the country.
This follows the increasing activities of militant insurgency groups within the West African sub-region, the latest country being Togo.
Following two separate alerts by the national security ministry last week for increased vigilance, the ministry is stepping up efforts by launching a new campaign dubbed “See Something, Say Something” to allow every citizen to reach out to people in authority and security agencies to report anything suspicious for appropriate action to be taken.
