Ghana’s Deputy Energy Minister, Dr Mohammed Amin Adam says the country will not be rushed in the energy transition period to shift from fossil fuel to renewable energy. 

Speaking to journalists, Dr. Adam said as an oil producing country, Ghana will maximize the benefits derived from crude oil production to develop the country before shifting to alternative fuel sources.
