Nigeria’s fuel crisis lingers into seventh week

As fuel crisis in Nigeria enters the seventh week, there is still no sign of an end to the scarcity. 

Filling stations that have fuel to dispense have continued to witness long, winding queues. This is even as black marketers who sell fuel in gallons by the road sides continue to take advantage to sell at exorbitant prices. 

Here are some Nigerians who said they have spent hours on the queues trying to get fuel. 

But in spite of these obvious sufferings, stakeholders in the petroleum sector have not run short of assurances to the citizens that things will soon go back to normal.
