The Nigerian Police force in the Northcentral said unknown gunmen abducted three Chinese nationals working on a power project in Niger state.

The force said two local staff working with the foreign nationals were killed during the attack.

The gunmen otherwise known as bandits struck on Tuesday and attacked staff from the Sino-Hydro Power Dam, working on a transmission line tower in a village.

As Umar Umar in Abuja reports, Bandits in the northwest and northcentral states of Nigeria have in recent times carried out mass kidnappings.
