Two months after a delegation from the Fund for the benefit of victims of the regime of the late Chadian President Hissene Habre, the victims say no further move has been made to compensate them.

This fund set up by the African Union in 2017 is responsible for finding the means to pay the victims for the reparations ordered by the court which tried the former Chadian president.

Hissein Habré, who died in prison in Dakar on August 24, was sentenced to pay 82 billion CFA francs to more than 7,300 victims, but since then they have received nothing.

Clément Abaïfouta heads the association of victims of Hissene Habré.
