A two-day Mano River Union (MRU) Diplomatic, Peace, Security & Democracy Conference has ended in Liberia with the adoption of a joint communique calling for a return to civilian rule in Guinea.  

The Mano River Union is an Intergovernmental Institution comprising Sierra Leone, Liberia, Guinea, and Côte d’Ivoire.
