The Sierra Leonean National Disaster Management Agency says effective communication outreach has been developed to help families of victims identify and recover bodies of their loved ones from the inferno.

Head of the agency, Brimah Sesay, in addition said the government has set up a contact tracing mechanism as part of efforts to compensate victims of the disaster that rocked the country since a mudslide in 2017, that killed more than one thousand people.

At least 99 people have been confirmed dead and several dozen others injured,

Sesay has been speaking to my colleague Abdullahi Hassan on the ongoing damage assessment by the disaster management agency.
