Liberian President George Weah has alarmed over what he described as an inequality distribution of resources under the climate fund program.

He said it was sad to note that country like Liberia who maintain and protect one of the largest forest reserves is receiving the lowest benefits for ecosystem services.

Weah was speaking Monday at the ongoing 2021 United Nations Climate Change Conference (UNCCC) in Glasgow, the United Kingdom.
