The political leader of the Gambia's former ruling Alliance for Patriotic Reorientation and Construction party, says the former President Yahya Jammeh was informed about the alliance recently announced between the APRC and the National People's Party of President Adama Barrow.
This comes a week after the former President, in exile in Equatorial Guinea, disapproved of the alliance and dismissed the executive council of the APRC including its political leader Fabakry Tombong Jatta.
Take a listen to Mr. Jatta addressing the press Thursday afternoon in Banjul.
