Three Napoli players have been subjected to racist abuse in Florence, just two weeks after AC Milan's Mike Maignan was subjected to similar insults.

Napoli beat Fiorentina 2-1 at the Stadio Artemio Franchi on Sunday afternoon, yet the game was marred by the insults.

According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, Victor Osimhen, Andre-Frank Zambo Aguissa and Kalidou Koulibaly were racially abused by a small section of the Fiorentina supporters after their defeat to Napoli.

Koulibaly responded to the chants aimed at him and his teammates as they headed back to the dressing room.

"Did you call me a monkey?" he shouted at La Viola's supporters in question.

"Come here and say that to my face!"

Fiorentina apologised to the club and the players following the incident.
