Police in Liberia on Monday fired teargas to disperse dozens of students of the University of Liberia who had gathered before the Foreign Ministry to demand the return of their lecturers to classes.

The University of Liberia Faculty Association (ULFA), announced a go-slow recently, citing a poor working environment, salary disparities and the alleged failure of the University authorities to pay them their arrears.
