The European Investment Bank (EIB) and the International Solar Alliance have advised the use of solar technologies to help reduce the number of Africans who do not have access to a reliable and affordable source of energy.
In a document published Tuesday, the institutions offer solutions to overcome the main difficulties related to investment and financial accessibility that are hampering investments in the off-grid solar power sector across Africa.
