As Nigeria gears up for the general elections in 2023, the Independent National Electoral Commission, has announced that it has removed 749 polling units from inappropriate facilities.

Chairman of the Commission, Professor Mahmood Yakubu disclosed this on Wednesday in Abuja at a meeting with Resident Electoral Commissioners RECs.

Some of the affected polling units were initially located in shrines, Mosques, Churches, royal palaces, and private property.
