Nigerien President Mohammed Bazoum arrived in Nigeria Monday on a two-day official state visit.

Bazoum was received by his Nigerian counterpart President Muhammadu Buhari, at the forecourt of the Presidential Villa, Abuja.

Governors of North western states of Kebbi and Zamfara as well North eastern states of Yobe and Borno were at the villa to host President Bazoum.

This state visit comes days after the return of The Nigerian Leader – Buhari on Thursday from a 16-day medical check-up in the United Kingdom.

The two held a meeting behind closed doors with no details of what issues were discussed.
