Senegal’s ministry of health announced 67 new corona virus infections and 1 death on Sunday.

The new infections consist of 23 cases followed by the health services, 44 infections caused by community transmission and one imported case.

According to the bulletin, 73 patients were tested negative and declared cured, and 16 serious cases of Covid-19 are being treated in the intensive care units.

The coronavirus pandemic has killed 1,078 people in Senegal, where 39,431 infections have been identified, according to the Ministry of Health and Action.
