Nigeria: Judiciary workers’ strike enters day three, leadership to meet

The leadership of the judiciary workers’ union in Nigeria are expected to hold their first meeting to review the strike this weekend.

The crippling nationwide strike embarked upon by judiciary workers which has led to the shutdown of courts almost throughout the country has entered its third day today. 

The workers declared the indefinite strike on Tuesday, to press for financial autonomy for the Nigerian judiciary at all levels.
