Egypt’s foreign minister Sameh Shoukry met with his Guinean counterpart, Ibrahim Kaba on Monday, as both leaders discussed ways for boosting relations and cooperation between both countries during the coming period.
During the meeting, foreign minister Shoukry stressed that the African countries need to take sufficient amounts of coronavirus vaccines to meet the needs of African peoples.
He also congratulated Kaba on assuming the top post in February 2021.
According to Foreign Ministry spokesman Ahmed Hafez, the two ministers voiced their keenness on fostering relations between Egypt and Guinea Conakry in the economic, trade and agricultural fields.
The spokesman said the meeting also reviewed efforts to combat terrorism and achieve economic integration among African countries.
